Osaka PVC Tapes was the name under which Osaka entered the Pakistani market in 1984. Pakistan sold inferior-quality plastic cassettes at the time. Osaka introduced Osaka PVC Tape, which is manufactured from a polymer used in place of rubber and plastic. PVC provides a firm grip.
